I was introduced to Ellyn & Fat Rabbit through a mutual acquaintance and it has been a match made in heaven. I have ordered several cakes from her but my favorite has to be the first - the Pearamel. I brought this to my parents home for Thanksgiving and everyone was blown away..even my brother who does not enjoy fruit! Ellyn's cakes are full of flavor and subtle nuances that make your taste buds sing. I have recommended her creations to friends and family over and over again!
Ellyn came highly recommended to us by a friend of hers and fellow baker! My husband and I were in search of someone to bake a small wedding cake for our reception. Fat Rabbit did not disappoint! Ellyn is so sweet and understood my vision of simplicity with big flavor completely. After designing the cake, she took care of everything from delivery to set up. We even froze a few pieces to enjoy for our 1 year anniversary, and it was every bit moist and delicious as the day of our wedding. We will definitely be using Fat Rabbit for future celebrations!

Working with Ellyn for our wedding cake was a delight! She is such a joy, and her passion for beautiful and delicious cakes made the process so fun for this very non-baker bride! If you want delicious, unique, and gorgeous wedding cake... Ellyn Hopper is the baker for you. My husband and I arranged our tasting and selected some of her fun flavors. We picked one totally crazy combination as well, pear cake with orange curd buttercream, and it was the winner! Ellyn decorated the cake with simple, yet elegant decor and it looked and tasted fabulous. We loved working with Fat Rabbit and look forward to getting cakes and other baked goods for future events from her!
